Since 2022, Solis College has helped people from Adelaide and around the world start careers that make a difference, in care, community services, child care, commercial cookery and business.
The sun rises for everyone, every day. That's the spirit behind Solis College and the rising sun in our logo: wherever you're starting from, today can be the beginning of something better.
Your journey starts today.
A promising career follows.
Silky Khanuja has spent more than ten years working in the community and education sectors. She has seen first-hand how the right training can change a person's life, and how much good, practical training matters to the people they go on to support.
In 2022 she founded Solis College to do training differently: friendly and practical, with students at the centre of every decision. Silky is still part of our training team today, and her door is always open.
“We started Solis not to make a million dollars, but because we love training and love seeing students grow, find new jobs and better themselves.”

Every milestone below is a story from our students, our staff and the community that welcomed us.
Solis College (ABBI Educational Services Pty Ltd) is registered as a training organisation on 5 September 2022 and welcomes its first students in the heart of Adelaide.

One of our very first Individual Support students secures a job in the disability sector before even finishing his placement. The first of many proud moments.

Our first groups of learners complete Intro to Care and Support and celebrate with certificates and big smiles.

We take Solis into Adelaide's city centre, meeting families, job seekers and future students face to face.

Our commercial cookery students bring passion to every plate, building real kitchen skills one dish at a time.

Anglicare SA visits Solis for an on-campus placement event, giving students a “day in the life” of a support worker and a chance to meet employers.

We celebrate five of our students who were hired by the same employer, a proud moment for the whole Solis family.

Students from many backgrounds explore Adelaide together. Learning about each other's cultures makes us better carers and better neighbours.
Through our 2026 pathway with IBC Higher Education (International Business College Pty Ltd), eligible Diploma of Community Services graduates can continue to a Bachelor of Human and Community Services, with credit transfer for their Solis study.

Graduates like Camila now work in disability employment, our First Aid and CPR short courses run every week, and a new International Student Guide welcomes students from around the world.
Celebrating a graduate's success · March 2026
Hands-on practice with real equipment, from hoists to CPR manikins, so students feel confident on day one.

Friendly classes where trainers know your name and your goals.

Students from many cultures learn, celebrate and share meals together.

Qualifications for work that cares for people and serves the community.
To help our students learn through transformative, practical education, and to support them into further study, including university, or into employment.
To be recognised as one of the nation's quality training providers, helping every student reach their highest potential while serving industry and our wider community.
Respect and integrity guide everything we do, along with an inclusive culture shaped by feedback from our students, staff and industry partners.

Thank you for always being patient with a shy & slow student like me. I'm not very good with words, but I really appreciate you.Trân B., Solis College student, in a handwritten card to Silky
