How to apply

Seven steps to your first day

  1. Choose your course and check the entry requirements

    Browse our courses and check the entry requirements, duration, intakes and fees for the course you want.

  2. Apply online or through a registered agent

    Complete the online enrolment form at soliscollege.sa.edu.au, or apply through a registered immigration agent, and upload your documents.

    Offshore: pay the AUD $100 application fee and answer the Genuine Student questionsOnshore: include your current visa details

  3. Complete a suitability interview and an LLN test

    We meet you, in person or online, to make sure the course is right for you, and you complete our language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills (LLN) assessment. It is not a pass or fail test.

  4. Receive your Letter of Offer

    If your application is successful, you receive a Letter of Offer and written agreement setting out your course, fees, payment dates and refund conditions.

  5. Accept your offer and pay your first instalment

    Sign and return your agreement and pay the first instalment shown in your offer. We then issue your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).

  6. Apply for your student visa

    Apply for your student visa with the Department of Home Affairs using your CoE. You cannot travel to Australia to study without a visa.

    If you need a new student visa, apply with the Department of Home Affairs using your CoE. Keep your visa and OSHC current at all times.

  7. Arrive in Adelaide and attend orientation

    Book your travel and accommodation, then join our orientation to meet your trainers and learn about student life in Adelaide.

Entry requirements

  • Aged 18 or over
  • Suitability interview
  • Language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLN) assessment
  • IELTS 6.0 overall or equivalent, no more than 2 years old
  • Any course-specific requirements listed on the course page

Documents to upload

  • Passport (photo page)
  • Academic certificates and transcripts
  • English test result
  • AUD $100 application fee receipt
  • Current visa grant or VEVO record
  • Release letter, if you are changing provider within your first 6 months
  • Certified English translations of documents not in English
