Rights and Responsibilities

Student Rights

Each student has the following rights:

  • Be accorded fairness and respect by all personnel at Solis Institute and by other students;
  • Not experience any form of victimisation, harassment, or discrimination;
  • Learn in a welcoming environment that is free from victimisation, harassment, and discrimination;
  • The hazards to one’s personal health and safety are controlled and minimised as one learns;
  • The hazards to one’s personal health and safety are controlled and minimised as one learns;
  • Have their private information and data protected and kept private in accordance with Solis privacy policy;
  • Obtain free access to all of the information that Solis maintains about them, including their records (providing that the pertinent tuition for the documents they want to see has been paid);
  • To have their complaints treated honestly, quickly, secretly, and without reprisal;
  • Make appeals about assessment and procedural judgments;

Student Responsibilities

Throughout their education and work with the Solis Institute, all scholars are expected to

  • Be fair and respectful to everyone, and avoid doing anything that would insult, humiliate, or even hang someone;
  • Not harm, victimise, prejudice, or disrupt others;
  • Respect all people and their property; be enamoured with the perspectives and backgrounds of others;
  • Not keeping any records or information throughout the delivery of training that could jeopardise your safety or others’;
  • Inform Solis of any changes to their specific information or contact information;
  • Give Solis pertinent information in a timely manner that is accurate;
  • Apply themselves to their work with the necessary diligence, integrity, and passion;
  • Complete all assessments, conditioning exercises, and homework.
